Eighteen years in the making...

On Thursday 8th January 2026, I officially launched my web design & online branding business. You could say it's a business I've been building since 2008 but only just realised I should make this a thing.

Aged 13 I created the branding and website for my parents new business. There was no budget for a website, and we definitely didn't discuss branding or colour palettes. We knew we needed a logo and we knew we needed an online shop, and that was that. Fast forward to 2024 and this business was still receiving 25,000 monthly hits on it's website and the logo I'd drawn on Microsoft Paint was still in use (don't worry it had been upgraded!).

In 2013 I made the decision to leave the family business and seek a career in the Retail industry. Over the next 10 years I worked in leather accessories, occasionwear and luxury watches. The retail landscape evolved so much over my career, but no more so than from 2020 when Covid closed non-essential retail for months (and then they opened again, and the closed again, and so on). It was during this time I learnt the most about how important it is to have an online presence that is as strong as your physical store front. But equally, how your stores must represent the image you portray to the customer online.

Three years ago I decided to go back to working in the family business. As a predominantly online business, product descriptions, product imagery, and ensuring we were seen in the top Google search results was my day to day. From early 2025 I had begun building websites again for people I already knew, then in August 2025 that very first website I built was sold, which leads me to now...

My vision is to to simplify web design, what can often be a daunting and overwhelming part creating a business, or establishing yourself online. More than that, I want to share what I have learnt about online spaces over the last 18 years.

Blog posts might be tips/tricks for you to use to elevate your brand, my thoughts on a trending creative topic, or even just an update on a recent project which I'm excited to share with you all.
