Alice Potter is a children's illustrator and surface pattern designer based in London. Alice's work is joyful, colourful and full of imagination.

I worked with Alice to redesign her existing Wix website. The website she had was functional but lacked the colour and character in her designs, and needed more emphasis on the products she sells (whilst also retaining her portfolios).

The brief was to "have fun" with the design - and honestly this has been one of the most fun projects I've ever worked on. Getting to work with Alice's pattern designs, utilising them throughout the site as backgrounds and integrating images of her books and characters was wonderful and really sparked my own creativity.

Aside from the design aspects, it was also important to ensure visitors to the website have a clear path to follow. I've introduced buttons at key break points which clearly navigate visitors to her online shop and porfolios. Plus contact links so clients can easily reach out to work with Alice, and also integrated links to other sites including Petit Fleur Studio, Thortful, Spoonflower and Amazon where Alice's products, designs and licenses are available to purchase.

The result is a website that reflects the playful, colourful characters in Alice's illustrations but is purposeful in helping to increase sales and enquiries from site visitors.
